Premier Padel Andalucia Malaga P1, Day6 Lebron and Augsburger earn a dream final. Bea Gonzalez shines in front of her crowd

Everything was set for another chapter of the Clasico, the now traditional showdown between Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia on one side and Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan on the other. But Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger had other plans, treating the crowd at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena in Malaga to a remarkable match. The No. 3 seeds prevailed 2-6 6-3 7-6 after losing the opening set and falling a break behind in the second before producing a stunning comeback that almost slipped away. Leading 5-0 in the decisive
tie-break, Lebron and Augsburger were pegged back, but after saving two match points they eventually sealed victory to book a place in the final against Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia. Following their 6-4 6-3 win over Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno, the world No. 1 pair will have the opportunity to claim a fifth consecutive title on Sunday, not before
16:00 CEST. For Lebron and Augsburger, it would be their second title together after their triumph in Brussels.

WOMEN While Lebron and Augsburger prevented a final between the top two men's pairs in the world, the women's final, which will open Sunday's programme at 14:00, will feature the tournament's top two seeded pairs: Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay against Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez. After dominating the opening set, Brea and Triay had to work harder in the second before overcoming Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo 6-0 6-4 in what was the pair's final match together in Malaga. In the second
semi-final, home favourite Bea Gonzalez and Paula Josemaria defeated Marina Guinart and Ale Alonso 6-2 6-2, with Guinart and Alonso nevertheless concluding their first tournament together with an excellent result.

All of this took place under the watchful eye of former basketball legend Manu Ginobili, who met the players and International Padel Federation President Luigi Carraro. The Argentine also enjoyed the show.
