Hotel lends a hand in U.A.E Clean Up Campaign

Sharjah, UAE, December 10, 2015: Colleagues from Centro Sharjah Hotel joined the Clean Up UAE campaign organised by Emirates Environmental Group as part of the Hotel’s social responsibility initiative. 

The Clean Up UAE campaign brings together people from all walks of life and creates awareness as well as advocates the cause of sustainable living. The Sharjah version of the campaign involved clean-up of the Al Maliha Road, an area popular for camping and desert activities. Colleagues started at 8.30 am collecting and segregating all forms of garbage. The total garbage collection through the campaign was 1520 Kgs

He further added” Being a Hotel and Stake Holder in Sharjah, we believe it is our responsibility to strive for the betterment of our community & the environment we operate in”
