Guided by its longstanding belief in the importance of education as a core pillar of community building and sustainable development, Burgan Bank, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education (MOE), organized a special ceremony to honor Kuwait’s nationwide top-achieving high school graduates of the Class of 2025/2026. The event celebrated outstanding performers across both the Arts and Sciences divisions, as well as students from special education schools affiliated with the Ministry. The Bank also recognized the high-achieving children of Burgan Bank employees.
The ceremony was attended by Ms. Maryam Al-Enezi, Director of the Educational Support Services Department at the Ministry of Education, alongside Ms. Danah Faisal Al-Jasem, General Manager - Corporate Communications at Burgan Bank, and Mr. Ali Akbar, Deputy General Manager - Human Resources Group at Burgan Bank, in the presence of members of the Bank’s senior management and the graduates’ families. The ceremony was marked by a warm and celebratory atmosphere as the students and their families came together to celebrate this well-deserved achievement, reflecting years of dedication, discipline, and hard work.
The ceremony included a welcome speech Mr. Ali Akbar, followed by the official recognition of the students and the presentation of trophies and commemorative gifts. In a special moment, the graduates also shared a few words expressing their aspirations and future plans, filling everyone in attendance with a sense of pride and admiration.
On this occasion, Ms. Danah Faisal Al Jasem, General Manager - Corporate Communications at Burgan Bank, said that these initiatives reflect Burgan Bank’s commitment to remaining close to the community it serves and celebrating the people, stories, and achievements that contribute to shaping Kuwait’s future.
She added: “The Bank’s corporate slogan, ‘Driven by You,’ embodies our commitment to listening to people, understanding their needs and aspirations, and building lasting relationships that create a positive impact throughout the different stages of their lives. Honoring Kuwait’s top graduates is one of the ways we translate our slogan into tangible action by recognizing the efforts of talented youth and supporting their journey toward even greater achievements and future success. Through this initiative, Burgan Bank continues to build bridges between the Bank and the community, between ambition and opportunity, and between today’s achievements and tomorrow’s possibilities.”
Al Jasem emphasized that Burgan Bank’s role extends beyond providing banking services, as the Bank remains committed to strengthening its community presence, celebrating success stories, and supporting initiatives that reflect its customers’ values, aspirations, and capabilities - as part of its social responsibility strategy and commitment to solid Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices).
For her part, Ms. Al-Enezi expressed the Ministry of Education’s pride in its fruitful collaboration with Burgan Bank, emphasizing that partnerships between the public and private sectors serve as a for serving the community and advancing the education sector.
She said: “We extend our sincere thanks to Burgan Bank for organizing this distinguished ceremony to honor Kuwait’s top-performing students. The support extended by Kuwaiti banking institutions to outstanding students reflects a deep sense of national responsibility and helps foster an environment that encourages excellence and progress, while also serving as a strong source of motivation for other students to follow the same path. For his part, Mr. Ali Akbar said: “This ceremony is more than a celebration of outstanding academic achievement; it is a sincere recognition of the ambition, resilience, and untapped potential of our young people, who are the cornerstone of building Kuwait’s bright future.
