In collaboration with Kuwait Central Blood Bank

Kuwait, 13 April 2017: Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait’s idyllic resort, reinforced its commitment and social responsibility to the local community by conducting a blood donation for the Hotel colleagues. The campaign under the theme “I Make a Difference”, was marked by a symbolic release of red balloons by the resort’s private beach to represent the start of the initiative.

On this occasion, General Manager Hakan Petek said: “We are proud to have our colleagues participate in this blood drive which is a live-saving cause. The gift of one’s own blood to save another life is a gracious commitment. At the same time, I would like to convey our appreciation to Kuwait Blood Bank for their enduring support in helping the community.”

Following the donations, the General Manager presented the Blood Bank with a token of appreciation for their efforts. Representing the Blood Bank, Ms Fatma Alnaqi, expressed her gratitude saying: “All the blood donors here in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa have played a vital role in setting an inspirational example to others in support of the welfare of the community and our mission. We admire their time and commitment in helping us ensure that a sufficient blood supply is available for the needs of the Kuwait community. With such acts of kindness we can help those in need with blood disorders, complicated childbirths and surgeries.”
