Kuwait, July, 2015 - On the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan, as part of the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, a flagship property of Rotana, previously certified as the world’s tallest hotel by Guinness Book of World Records along with Al Manshar Rotana Kuwait, the only five star Rotana property in Kuwait, and WSP l Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading professional services firms with 31,000 employees based in more than 500 offices, across 39 countries organized the charity campaign for construction workers in Middle East.

Nearly 500 packages containing food and basic hygiene items were prepared and distributed in several employee accommodations of local construction companies in Al Quoz Industrial area and in Kuwait.

Commenting on the project, Karim Nahas, the General Manager of Rose Rayhaan by Rotana said: “As soon as the initiative has been announced internally, we have received a tremendous support from our colleagues who not only generously donated the items to compile the packages but also supported the whole process from this charity project, it has been a great team work that I would like to thank our team for this fantastic job they did together. This project would not have been so successful without the helping hands of our partners - WSP l Parsons Brinckerhoff.  I would like to express our gratitude to their efforts and support in this charity.”

Imad Zaboura, general manager of Al Manshar Rotana commented: “We at Al Manshar Rotana are involved in a variety of CSR activities with an aim to give back to the society, economy and to the environment. This initiative is one of our way focusing on the society, construction workers are the key people behind our beautiful houses and all the huge establishments where we work. They have been working 24/7 most of the time making sure to meet the target of the contractors and to deliver the project on time thus I believe that this is the time to compensate them. I am very proud with the level of commitment and enthusiasm my colleagues has extended during the preparation and distribution of the care packages to the labourers. Definitely, a big thanks to WSP l Parsons Brinckerhoff for making this campaign happen.”
