KIB Launches Summer Campaign for Visa Credit and Prepaid Cardholders

Kuwait, 3 June 2024: Kuwait International Bank (KIB), in partnership with Visa, announced the launch of its highly anticipated Summer Card Campaign to reward its Visa Credit and Prepaid Cardholders. The campaign will be running throughout the entire summer season between June and August, offering eligible participants the chance to enter monthly draws and double their Cashback Points when using their cards both locally and internationally. This means that for every purchase made, cardholders will have a chance to win and receive twice the usual Cashback amount, effectively doubling their rewards this summer. The prize amount will be equal to the Cashback earned during the draw spending period, with the minimum prize set at KD 150 and the maximum prize set at KD 600. The new campaign comes as part of KIB’s continuous efforts to provide the best banking benefits and reward its customers.

Commenting on the Summer Campaign, Laila Naserallah, Senior Product Manager of the Digital Innovation and Data Intelligence Department at KIB, said: “As summer beckons with its promise of travel and adventure, KIB is set to offer its KIB Visa Credit and Prepaid Cards holding customers something extra, making every spend more rewarding. Through this promotional campaign, we seek to underline our commitment to enhancing our customers’ banking experience and rewarding them for their trust and loyalty. While they make purchases inside and outside the country, they will earn Cashback Points along with multiple chances to enter a monthly draw and become one of our lucky winners.”

Ali Hinnawi, Visa’s Business Development Lead for Kuwait, said: “KIB’s summer campaign is a great way to drive digital commerce. During the Summer campaign period, KIB will announce a total of 30 lucky winners within three monthly draws, with the first draw set to take place in July at the Bank's headquarters, under the supervision of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. KIB customers who are holders of Visa Classic, Gold, Platinum, Signature, and Infinite Credit Cards or Visa Prepaid and Multicurrency Prepaid Cards can qualify for the campaign.  

The latest campaign enables customers to enter the monthly draw when using eligible KIB cards for their purchases of at least KD 600 eligible Cashback Spends for Credit Cards and KD 200 for Prepaid Cards, whether within or outside Kuwait. Customers will receive one chance to enter the draw for every KD 10 spent locally, and three chances for every KD 10 spent internationally during the campaign period.

It is worth noting that this campaign builds on the success of past collaborations between KIB and Visa, including the ‘Surprises for Every Season’ campaign and the February Promotion commemorating Kuwait’s National and Liberation Day, which were highly appreciated by KIB customers. The Bank encourages its customers to keep an eye on KIB’s different platforms and social media accounts for updates on how to maximize their benefits, along with other promotions and services it continuously offers, living up to its slogan ‘Bank for Life’.
