Kuwait, 18 November 2023: In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the Islamic banking industry, World Finance magazine once again presented Sheikh Mohammed Jarrah Al-Sabah, Chairman of Kuwait International Bank (KIB), with the highly esteemed “Life Achievement in Islamic Banking and Dedication to Community” award. The title was also bestowed upon Al-Jarrah for his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the communities he serves.
Al-Jarrah nabbed the prestigious honorary title for his outstanding performance, in accordance with the award criteria. Among them are entrepreneurial acumen, exceptional leadership, and admirable humility which have served as a guiding light to numerous individuals and organizations. World Finance commended him for his unrelenting efforts towards upholding Islamic finance principles and commitment to social causes, expressing how this exemplifies his incredible dedication to advancing the greater good.
Commenting on the occasion, Al-Jarrah said: “I am deeply honored to receive this life achievement award.” The KIB Chairman asserted his full commitment to continuing the tireless efforts to develop the Bank's strategies and further push it on an upward growth path. Al-Jarrah has served as Chairman of KIB since 2010 and has been a driving force for the Bank’s growth and its leading role in Kuwait since then.
