Burgan Bank Awards Winner of its Kanz Semi-Annual Draw with a KD 500,000 Cash Prize

Reminding customers about the unique features of its dual saving and draw account

Kuwait, 8 July 2023: Burgan Bank announced the lucky winner of the Kanz semi-annual draw during a special ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters. The winner, Mr. Taiyab Ali Nazar Hussain who walked home with a cash prize of KD 500,000 was announced in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, alongside members of the Burgan Bank management team and an external auditor.

Commenting on the draw, Mr. Nasser Mohammad Al-Qaisi, Chief Retail Banking Officer at Burgan Bank, said: “We are proud to announce the lucky semi-annual draw winner in the second year of our Kanz account. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Taiyab Ali Nazar Hussain and we would also like to remind our customers that the winning is not over yet. It serves to note that Burgan Bank revamped the Kanz draw account earlier this year, narrowing it down to two major annual draws and regular monthly draws throughout the year. This dual saving and draw account can help customers build a solid financial foundation to safeguard today and tomorrow for themselves and their loved ones. Further enriched with new benefits and even higher prizes, the Kanz account grants an ultimate lucky winner the grand annual prize of KD 1,500,000 and one semi-annual draw winner the prize of KD 500,000, while 20 winners will each get KD 2,000 cash-prize in the monthly draw. 

To be eligible to enter Burgan Bank’s upcoming draws, any individual can open a Kanz account in Kuwaiti Dinar or in any other major currencies (USD, EURO, and GBP) with a minimum balance of KD 200, or equivalent. All Kanz customers must maintain the balance for at least one month before the semi-annual draw date, seven days before the monthly draw and until December 31st for the annual draw.
