Kuwait, 11 June 2023: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) received an honor from the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank in recognition of the Bank’s pioneering role and continuous efforts toward social responsibility and humanitarian work. During a recent visit, Waleed Al-Saqabi, a representative of the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank, was received and welcomed to KIB. Al-Saqabi praised the Bank’s constant keenness to organize and sponsor various types of humanitarian events and activities that benefit diverse segments of society. He pointed out that this recognition reflects KIB’s advanced role in humanitarian work and its commitment to its slogan, “Bank for Life.”
The visit witnessed an exchange of opinions and ideas around enhancing cooperation between KIB and the Kuwaiti Food and Relief Bank and the optimal means to achieve the mutual goal of sustainable development in a manner that ensures the well-being of all segments of society.
For his part, Abdullah Al Khamees, from the Marketing and Corporate Communications Unit at KIB, thanked the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank team, saying: “We are honored to receive this distinguished recognition from such an active humanitarian institution. We see in it an appreciation of our constant keenness and the continuous efforts that we have been making, for years, to achieve our strategic goals through our comprehensive social responsibility program.” He added: “We also extend our great thanks to the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank for this positive initiative and its beneficial and successful role in the community and humanitarian work. We will continue to extend cooperation and support for all parties and institutions that adopt community development as part of their core goals.”
It is worth noting that KIB spares no effort in cooperating and strengthening its relations with institutions and entities playing an active humanitarian and social role. This comes as part of the Bank’s comprehensive social responsibility program, based on its pioneering role and vision to improve the way of life for all members of society.
