Kuwait – April 16, 2019: In cooperation with the Department of Public Events and Media in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Burgan Bank organized a fun day for persons with special needs at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center. As part of Burgan Bank’s mission to integrate all segments into the society, the fun day falls under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labors’ regular entertainment programs which constitutes several initiatives and recreational activities for the residents of the home.
Driven to highlight the importance of the special needs involvement within the social fabric of the Kuwaiti community, Burgan Bank organized the event to instill joy and happiness in the hearts of the special needs community by treating them to an entertaining day. The residents enjoyed a pleasant walk in Sheikh Jaber Al-
Ahmad Cultural Center, a popular national icon for cultural exchange, exploration of creativity and self- expression in Kuwait and the MENA region. At the end of the engaging trip, lunch was served within the captivating and hospitable atmosphere of Villa Fayrouz. The residents expressed their gratitude to the bank for the memorable day and its ongoing initiatives that continue to empower them and their role in the Kuwaiti society.
Burgan Bank has continually affirmed its community commitment through the support of various and diverse social initiatives driven under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor also commended the Bank's continued support of all three – the orphaned children, the Elderly and special needs segments.

This program sheds light on important aspects affecting every segment of the society by promoting social welfare through educational, cultural and health driven initiatives.
