The firm's first major public engagement in Kuwait builds on a decade of designing and engineering platforms for governments and businesses across the Gulf
KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT — Applab, a leading technology and digital-transformation partner to governments and enterprises across the Gulf, today announced its participation in Digital Transformation Kuwait as a Silver Sponsor. The event takes place November 9–10, 2026 at the Crowne Plaza, Kuwait. It marks the firm's first appearance at the event and its first major public engagement in the Kuwait market since establishing local operations.
The participation marks an important milestone in Applab's growing presence in Kuwait, following the establishment of its local operations. Headquartered in Doha, Qatar, Applab brings a decade of experience designing and engineering digital platforms, AI-powered solutions, and enterprise technologies for governments and businesses across the region.
As artificial intelligence reshapes the possibilities for public services and enterprise operations, Applab sees an opportunity to contribute capabilities that go beyond traditional digitization, helping organizations rethink how services are designed, delivered, and continuously improved. That ambition aligns closely with Kuwait Vision 2035 and its goal of building a modern, diversified economy, as the country's ministries and enterprises work to deliver services that citizens and businesses can use.
"Kuwait has set out a clear and ambitious vision for its digital future, and events like this are where that vision starts to become real work. We want Applab to be a genuine contributor to that journey — bringing design and engineering strength to the table, and a team on the ground that can help turn national priorities into services people actually use," said Dr. AlHasan AlSammarraie, Managing Partner, Applab.
Across the two days, Applab's team will meet with government entities, enterprises, and prospective partners to share how it has approached similar challenges elsewhere in the Gulf, and to explore where AI, digital engineering, and the next generation of government and enterprise services can create the greatest impact. The firm's capabilities span AI-powered solutions, custom software and application development, UX/UI design strategy, and enterprise solutions integration — the practical capability needed to move public and private-sector ambitions from plan to production.
