Huawei Consumer BG, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, successfully held the “Better Together 2023 Gathering” on Wednesday, 14th of December, 2022 in Four Seasons.
The gathering’s objective was to strengthen the ties between Huawei and the media and its partners, while paving the way for greater understanding between them. Huawei Consumer BG had conducted a similar event last year, “Better Together 2022 Gathering” in which the company had presented its sustainable and high-efficiency innovations to the public.
The main highlight of this year’s media gathering was the announcement of the launch of the much-awaited HUAWEI Mate50 Pro in Kuwait. The pre-order phase of the launch will start from Thursday, 15th of December 2022.
Mr. Paul Fanshibao, Director of Kuwait Device Office, Huawei Consumer BG, who made that announcement, said, “The HUAWEI Mate50 Pro has already become a hot-selling flagship product in China. The premium flagship is back and comes with a stunning new design, Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera, and sets a new standard in smartphone performance.”
The Director began by touching upon the challenges that Huawei faced in 2022, and how the company managed to achieve remarkable progress in spite of that, climbing to the 9th rank in the world with a brand value of USD 71.2 billion.
He then spotlighted some of the innovative technologies that the company had launched in the market in 2022, such as the HUAWEI P50 Pocket and the HUAWEI Mate Xs 2. On the PC front, Huawei launched the MateBook X Pro, a lightweight, premium powerhouse of a laptop that includes new Super Device technology for easy multi-device connection.
In terms of wearable tech, Huawei continued to garner the interest of the market with its health and fitness products, like the stunning HUAWEI Watch GT3 Pro, which set the gold standard for performance and design.
Mr. Paul highlighted that this level of innovation was made possible by Huawei’s strategic vision for growth, backed by huge investments in its R&D to the tune of 845 billion Chinese Yuan. Moreover, the number of monthly active users of AppGallery worldwide has increased to 580 million with over 216,000 apps, which is indicative of the rising popularity of Huawei in the markets across the world.”
In conclusion he said, “By continuously investing on the core technologies of both hardware and ecosystem to satisfy the consumer experience, we are confident that Huawei can and will successfully come up with more breakthroughs in future.”
